Key Responsibilities - Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products.
- In addition will perform machine and line setups, feeder repairs and first line preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for troubleshooting, testing and repairing electronic equipment
- Document and maintain accurate records of assembly and test results to ensure compliance with quality standards. Ability to set up, operate, calibrate and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.
- Ability to trouble-shoot problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems.
- Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing.
- Knowledge of computer applications- SAP, Microsoft and Documentation control systems.
- Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines.
Qualifications- Minimum 4 years of experience in electronics / Avionics experience.
- Completed post secondary education in electrical or electronics engineering technology, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology or an equivalent.
